Lists, Lists, Lists… nothing like a good list!

Draw cards - check!… Print cards - check!… Write cards - check!… Post cards - Check!
It’s that time of year that you need to be organised - or pretend to be organised. As long as you have a list you look organised and you know you will get admiring glances from some - and others will be oh so slightly jealous because you are always so wonderfully organised. The ‘swan’ approach to life! But I have discovered that it really doesn’t matter if you forget something… (except the baby - that matters… but that's another story) And in general life goes on.
Our first Christmas together I asked my darling husband if there was anything he particularly liked to eat on Christmas day.
Peas, was the answer. All the normal Christmas fare, but he does love peas. That year I forgot to buy peas… and you know what life went on just the same.
On our second year same question, same answer. I bought the peas, and left them in the freezer… and you know what life went on just the same.
On our third year same question, same answer. I bought the peas, cooked them and forgot to serve them… and you know what life went on just the same.
Four years later he finally got his Christmas peas! And a list is written and I do my best to do the things on it…but if I forget, life still goes on no problem!
I love a good list, I have lists for everything, I even make lists of lists I need to make…. I even write things on the list I’ve already done so I can tick it off straight away and then sit back and admire how much I’ve achieved! I sometimes include eat breakfast… just because that's easy and can be ticked straight away!
Sprouts… on the list!
